Everyone, and every brand, has a story to tell. And I have been a storyteller for as long as I can remember.

With more than a decade of print and online media experience under my belt, I have written and researched on a variety of topics – from current news, legal, medical, social and socio-economic, to mental health. I have helped drive the narrative of countless people and causes, from the every-day man, industry movers and shakers, to policy makers in the government.

Now, I help people and businesses bring their stories to life by guiding them to find their stories, and to share it in an honest and authentic way. How to own and embrace their narrative, and understanding that their stories – good and bad – can be a powerful tool to propel them towards greater growth.

I also help people with content creation. All content begins with good writing. Whether it’s through your website, content marketing, helping you navigate the crazy world of social media, or increasing your leads via Search Engine Optimisation (SEO), let me help you reach the people you want.

When not at work, I love nothing better than curling up with a good book or taking snapshots of my children, with the hope that I might somehow capture and preserve that little moment in time. I am also weirdly passionate about kitchen knives, in all their glorious technicality.

I am a strong believer in respectful parenting – that children are capable little human beings who can thrive if they are led with respect and empathy. I have faith that if children are brought up with these values, as well as kindness, courage, resilience and integrity, the world will be a much better place for everyone.

By extension, I am a mental health advocate. Mental health issues are prevalent in our society today, and it can affect anyone – from babies and toddlers, to retirees and senior citizens. As a community, we have the power to reconstruct the way we view mental health, and take away the stigma that is often attached to it.

I am also a huge advocate for teaching babies to communicate via sign language. Baby-signing has allowed both my boys to express themselves effectively from as young as 8 months old, even before they could do so verbally. Watching little humans tell you very decidedly that they want a watermelon is both immensely satisfying and hilarious.

This is my story. What’s yours?
