Stella Lau

Stella has been working in the legal industry as a litigation clerk since 2006. She joined MahWengKwai & Associates in 2008. Concurrent with her employment at the firm, she enrolled herself in the University of London’s External Programme as a part time student in 2011. She graduated with a Bachelor of Laws with honours in 2015.

In 2014, Stella was promoted to the position of head litigation clerk and became responsible for the coaching and monitoring of the firm’s litigation clerks and general clerks. She is familiar with civil procedure and the operations of the firm.
In 2016, the firm offered her the position of Paralegal. She assisted our lawyers with the drafting of cause papers and legal research. The major areas that she involved in were debts recovery proceedings and execution proceedings. In addition, she has had the benefit working for our Dato’ Mah Weng Kwai.
In 2018, she was promoted to the position of the practice manager. She assists managing partner of the firm to oversee and manage day-to-day practice operations. She also works closely with other departments of the firm to integrate digital technology into all areas of the firm and deliver value to our clients.
